For certified divers we organize guided diving trips from 1-5 days (2 dives a day), less than 5 divers per leader, in Agios Onoufrios area, Stavros, Marathi and Kalathas. We offer more than 20 different dive sites from beginners up to technical divers, such as vertical walls, caves, cavern, airplane and deep ship wreck, tunnel and lot more with big variety of sponges, soft and hard corals, smaller or bigger fish and lot of micro life.
CHANIA DIVING CENTER
Chania Diving Center is the main cooperators of S.S.I (Scuba Schools International), I.A.N.T.D (International Association of Nitrox and Technical Divers) and G.U.E (Global Underwater Explorers), in Crete. Was founded in 2012 by technical diving instructor and user closed circuit (rebreather) Giannoulakis Nikolaos. Our diving center is established in the area of Akrotiri, next to the city of Chania, and our information-reservation office is located in Archoleon and Kanevaro1 in the center of Chania.
We are open all year and we offer high quality training to new divers who want to discover the underwater world of Chania and divers who wish to continue their training in recreational and technical diving. With maximum 4-5 divers per dive leader, we maximize the level of safety and pleasure to every each of the divers, which is our priority!
With our three boats and the best professional team, we organize daily diving trips (morning-afternoon) to Kalathas bay, Stavros, Agios Οnoufrios area and Marathi and we are the only who can cover 30 to 40 different sites, as canyons, walls, spilaiomata, caves, shipwrecks, airplane wrecks and more, able to fulfil open water up to trimix divers. Our dive sites vary depending on weather conditions, experience and level of each diver.
Our goal is the development of diving tourism in Chania and consequently in Greece and the lengthening of the season as the Greek seas are perfect for diving activities all year round.
Divers are divided into two categories:
• The beginners
• The already certified divers.
For non-certified divers we offer the «TRY SCUBA» and «SNORKELING EXPERIENCE».
